Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how payments, cancellations, and refunds work on VOD Chatter LLC ("VOD Chatter," "we," "us," or "our"). It applies to all paid activity on vodchatter.com, including subscription payments and gift subscriptions. This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.

1. General Policy - Payments Are Generally Final

Payments made through VOD Chatter are generally final and non-refundable, to the maximum extent permitted by law. When you purchase a subscription or gift subscription:

• you are paying to support a Creator and unlock VOD Chatter features associated with that support; and
• you are not purchasing ownership of any YouTube videos, Twitch chats, or other third-party content.

We may, in our sole discretion, grant a refund or credit in limited situations (for example, clear duplicate charges or certain technical errors), but we are not obligated to do so.

2. Subscriptions & Gift Subscriptions

VOD Chatter offers recurring subscriptions and gift subscriptions ("Subs") processed by third-party payment processors such as Stripe.

• All Sub charges (including renewals) are generally non-refundable once processed.
• Gift Subs are not transferable or refundable once delivered, except where required by law or where we decide, at our discretion, to issue a refund or credit.
• Changes or enforcement actions by YouTube, Twitch, or other platforms (such as removing or demonetizing a channel) do not entitle you to a refund from VOD Chatter, as we do not control or host that content.

3. Cancellations & Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions typically renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on VOD Chatter (where available) or as otherwise described on the Platform.
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Canceling stops future renewals but does not automatically generate a refund for charges already processed.

4. When We May Consider a Refund

While refunds are not guaranteed, we may consider issuing a refund, partial refund, or credit in our discretion in situations such as:

• clearly duplicate or accidental charges;
• obvious technical errors caused by VOD Chatter that result in an incorrect charge;
• confirmed fraud or unauthorized use of your payment method (subject to investigation);
• other exceptional cases where we decide a refund or credit is appropriate.

In all cases, we reserve the right to:

• ask for additional information to verify your identity or the nature of the issue; and
• decline a refund request if we believe it is unfounded, abusive, fraudulent, or inconsistent with this policy.

5. Chargebacks & Disputes

If you dispute a charge directly with your bank or payment provider (for example, through a chargeback):

• we may suspend or limit your account and access to certain features while the dispute is investigated;
• we may withhold or reverse payouts to the relevant Creator;
• if the dispute is resolved against you, we may reinstate the charge and, if applicable, reinstate the Sub.

If your account ends up with a negative balance (for example, due to chargebacks, refunds, or fees), we may set off that negative amount against any future payouts owed to you or take other steps allowed by our Terms of Service.

6. How to Request a Refund Review

If you believe there has been an error with a charge, please contact us as soon as possible at support@vodchatter.com and include:

• the email address associated with your VOD Chatter account;
• the approximate date and amount of the charge;
• any relevant Stripe receipt or transaction ID, if available; and
• a brief explanation of the issue (for example, duplicate charge, unauthorized charge, or technical problem).

We may refer you to your bank or payment provider in some cases (for example, suspected card theft or unauthorized use), and we may also rely on the outcome of Stripe or your bank's investigation when determining whether to issue a refund or credit.

7. No Refunds for Third-Party Platform Decisions

VOD Chatter does not control YouTube, Twitch, or any other platform that hosts the content or chat you see on the Platform. Accordingly, we do not provide refunds or credits based solely on:

• a Creator changing or deleting their videos or streams;
• content being age-restricted, geo-blocked, demonetized, or removed by YouTube, Twitch, or another platform;
• changes to recommendation algorithms, chat rules, moderation actions, or ad delivery by those platforms.

8. Changes to This Refund Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and post the revised version on this page. Changes take effect when posted unless a later effective date is specified.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, any changes to this Refund Policy will apply to all transactions that occur after the updated policy becomes effective. Your continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
